Welcome back to the 2010-11 School Year. This year will be an important one for our library. In June 2010, our library was awarded a LSTA grant of $10,000 with matching funds from our school district of $2,500. This means that we will be getting a whole lot of new books this year. Look for frequent updates about new books available in our school library.
This grant is awarded by the Institute of Museum and Library Services and is administered through the State Library of NC.

Welcome to my new blog about Parkwood's library media center. This blog will be about happenings in the library of our school. You may sign up to be a follower and will receive email updates when I update the blog. This blog will not include book reviews because I have started an account on Shelfari where you can see the books that I have read and what I think about them.
